Come along if you feel like it
After all of a few days after Japan finally gets the iPhone, Steve iJobs unveils the new version…

Nice one… A new thinner (well actually thicker Steve), faster (3G isn’t HSUPA speeds eh!) and now cheaper (Nice one for the guys who paid over double that for an outdated version only today!!!) the latest iteration could easily mistaken as iPhone 1.5 rather than a full blown new version… It’s not even got a different shell!
But, saying all that… Now the licensed ActiveSync technology has been included I can seriously consider one…
Yup you heard it right, I like them…. I always have, just didn’t like not having my email, let alone push email… Apple also say that you can view Word, Excel an Powerpoint documents, which is great. I wonder about the formating, will it be the same? Nothing said about editing?

In another life I ranted about Messenger not being available in the ROMs given to you by certain Telco’s, read it here.
Well it seems, after reading a comment from James Hilton right at the bottom (thx James), that it’s not actually taken out… They have taken out the shortcut to the application which is hidden in the Windows directory…
my decive/windows/WLMMessenger.exe
I have tested it on the Vodafone Palm 750v, so it must be true on every device
The tip to create a short cut in the program menu goes like this
You might want to rename it afterwards, but hey I’m a stickler for these things at times…
I’d love to hear from you if your device has it hidden away…
Yeah I know, I’m a little slow on this one, but in my defence I’m a client side dev and so web has kinda passed me by a bit… But now that’s changing… So….
Helps you out on your readyness for the websites you work with. Cool eh?
Look what popped into my inbox this morning…
